    Pagerank isn't the most important ranking factor anymore. If you want to rank forever, you really need quality content.

    Thanks for commenting... but the whole point of the article is that Page Rank was Never even Among the most important factor. Ever.

    I don't agree with JW Bobbink at all. I think the most important factor is that you need a lot of quality backlinks pointing - without nofollow - to your website. Of course quality content is needed to succeed, but I think you have always need to write quality content, because you get more conversions with quality content.
